ATP Fitness was established to share an understanding of Fitness, Health and Wellbeing with the people of Cork. By sharing our knowledge of nutrition, exercise and wellness we are giving our members the tools to make healthy lifestyle changes, to live their best lives.

We are located in Douglas and Ballincollig.

We help our members to create maintainable and sustainable goals, by listening to and coaching them in a fun and friendly atmosphere!


ATP Fitness was established by Ian Murphy and Cian O’Flynn in 2016. After a decade of combined experience at the forefront of the fitness industry, they realised that nowhere was offering clients exactly what they needed, a personal approach to fitness and health, that fitted into people’s busy lives. They knew from years of dealing with their clients, that they all shared one aspiration when it came to their health and that was to be their best selves.

Armed with this knowledge Ian & Cian created ATP Fitness, to offer everyone who is serious about taking care of their Health and Wellbeing the balance between fitness and nutrition, in a non-intimidating and friendly atmosphere.

ATP Fitness has found the balance between offering highly focused, classes, PT and nutritional information with being fun and results driven. ATP is focused on its members and bringing them the best nutritional, health and wellness advice as well as fun and stimulating classes and Personal Training. It is for this reason ATP Fitness has become the gym of choice in Cork!


The guy’s enthusiasm for fitness is infectious. You are guaranteed to leave every class and training session exhausted but so satisfied and feeling so much better than when you arrived. It’s so nice to find a place that’s more about getting healthier, stronger, fitter than just always focusing on getting smaller. The trainers here have a fantastic ability to help and guide you to achieve your goals and to give you the extra push that you might need. They can turn your “I can’t” into “I can”! No better guys to put you through your paces. I would definitely recommend Atp fitness.

I found the staff in ATP brilliant in the run up to my recent wedding. They answered any questions I had in relation to diet and gave me helpful tips on little changes I could make. They pushed me harder than ever during sessions and played wedding related songs in the gym in the week leading up to the wedding to keep me focused.

I have tried to get back to “my normal” and now ATP Fitness are working with me to achieve this. I joined ATP in August 2018 and on 18th October I reached a great milestone, I am down my 1st stone in weight, but that’s not the only benefit. My right leg is very badly affected which doesn’t allow me to do routine workouts, but Aileen works very closely with me and I can’t believe what I am now willing to do and it works.  My whole wellbeing has greatly improved. I’m enjoying coming to the gym and with the great advice on my food intake also, the results are showing. Many thanks to all the staff.
